If golf courses were movies, Pinehurst No. 2 would be The Godfather. It's a masterpiece that every golfer should experience at least once. The Donald Ross design is pure genius, and the recent restoration by Coore & Crenshaw brought it back to its original glory.

Those crowned greens are no joke. If you miss the green, you're probably rolling 20 yards away. But that's what makes it so great - it rewards good shots and punishes bad ones without being unfair...
